West Street Studio - Johnshaven - Aberdeen - Scotland
We are Robert and Charlotte Lawrence and we live and work right by the sea in our studio which is situated in Johnshaven - a small, untouched fishing village in the North East of Scotland, about 30 miles south of Aberdeen. From our West Street Studio, Robert paints canvases in oil and Charlotte creates hand-made designer textiles.
Robert is self taught and has been working as a professional artist for the last four years primarily doing commisioned works. Charlotte has always been interested in textiles and sewing techniques and enjoys creating 'one-off' designs in colourful appliqued textiles.
Please have patience whilst visiting our site as it is necessarily graphic intensive
and certain pages may take a while on slow connections ~ but they are worth waiting for !!.

As all textiles are 'one-off' and galleries are under ongoing development the content of our collections is very dynamic and there is more of our work than it would be realistic to put on our web pages, so we offer you a free CD containing images of our latest works, along with descriptions, sizes, costs etc.
